Wind Turbine Installations

Sun Country Golf Course, Cle Elum, WA

The Sun Country Gold & Resort is located 78 miles east of Seattle with new home sites and lots surrounding the course.  A perfect setting for wind power with consistent winds through the entire year.  Model:  V200, rated at 2.50 KWh.

Yankee Cove, Adlersheim Wilderness Lodge.  Juneau, AK.  V100 at Helicopter Landing Pad.

This installation is a V100 on a painted pole with LED lights.  The turbine is charging batteries that power the lighting for the landing pad.  Customer:  Marion & Naomi Hobbs.

85th & Linden Ave N. Seattle, WA

You can almost see it from I-5, the first Wind Turbine installed on a Multi Family building in Washington State History.   Thanks to the hard work and perseverance of the City of Seattle City Council members and the Mayor, who worked with Northwest Windpower and its team to get this important zoning code passed.  The project is an 8 unit town home project, built by Gary Noyes, a successful builder/developer in Washington State.  Electrical work was completed by AMC Electric, and Lightening Electric.

Paine Field Airport, Everett, WA

Located on the upper tower of the Tyee building, now occupied by the Aerospace Futures Alliance and Aerospace Technical Training Center, is the V200 Energy Ball.  Total elevation above ground is 51 Feet, and completely ballasted, non penetrating, rated for up to 100 MPH.  The video shows this turbine spinning quite fast even at 5 mph.  The total annual production is estimated to be 2500-3,000 kWh.  Photo was taken just before the electrical was completed, which is explains why its still tied off with rope.  Installed on May 28, 2010.

V100 mounted the ridge of the Linden Town Homes, 85th and Linden, North Seattle, WA.

Marrowstone Island, WA

V200 Installation 10 feet away from house.  Customer reports that turbine is spinning really fast and cannot hear it.
